Vivahkalp is open only to unmarried, divorced, or widowed individuals aged 18–50 who are legally eligible to marry under applicable law. Profiles created on behalf of a family member (son, daughter, brother, sister, or relative) must be created with that person's knowledge and consent. Vivahkalp is intended only for adults of legal marriageable age — any profile found to belong to a minor will be removed.

You must provide accurate, current information during registration and verify your email address using the one-time password (OTP) sent to you. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.

You agree that all details you provide — including personal, physical, educational, professional, family, religious, and contact information — are true and accurate to the best of your knowledge. Vivahkalp reserves the right to reject, suspend, or permanently remove any profile found to contain false, misleading, or impersonated information.

Photographs and identity/verification documents (Aadhaar/PAN, salary slip, kundali) submitted during registration are reviewed by our admin team before a profile is approved and made visible to other members. These documents are used strictly for verification and are never shown to other members. Submitting fraudulent or altered documents may result in permanent account suspension.

Members must communicate with each other respectfully. Harassment, abusive language, impersonation, solicitation for unrelated commercial purposes, requesting money or banking details, or any unlawful conduct through chat, messages, or interest requests is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account action.

Your information is used to help you find and be found by compatible matches, subject to the visibility rules described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Vivahkalp may suspend, reject, or delete any profile at its discretion where these Terms are violated, where documents cannot be verified, or where a complaint from another member is substantiated. You may request deletion of your own account at any time from Settings → Delete Account; your profile is hidden immediately upon request, and your data is permanently deleted by our team shortly after, with a confirmation email sent once complete.

Vivahkalp is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Devgiri and Vivahkalp are not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from interactions, relationships, or marriages formed through introductions made on the platform, or from information provided by other members that later proves inaccurate.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you inside the app or by email. Continued use of Vivahkalp after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
